The life of the Jrai people typically revolves around agriculture and livestock farming. They live in villages in the highlands of the Central Highlands of Vietnam, constructing houses on the ground using bamboo and leaves, often with raised floors. The Jrai organize themselves into clans, each led by a chief. They preserve and develop their traditional culture through rituals, songs, dances, and folktales. In recent times, development in the region has brought changes to their economy and culture.
