My name is Grant Bryan. I was born in Alaska where my dad practically raised my 3 brothers and I outside. We were always gettin' in to something outside and through my dads construction business, we were able to see the far reaches of the last frontier on job sites in the bush. When I was 16, we moved to Virginia. Somewhere between the ages of 15 and 20, I developed the strong urge to be as independant as I could. Fixing things on my house or truck, using a sawmill to mill my own lumber, growing my own produce, these are the things that bring me joy and peace of mind. Come along with me as I figure out all this stuff as I go!
