NFA Uganda

National Forestry Authority-Uganda (NFA) was created under the National Forestry and Tree Planting Act 2003 (NFTPA) as a corporate body responsible for sustainable development and management of Central Forest Reserves (CFR's) and provision of technical support to stake holders in the forestry sub-sector.
NFA is mandated to operate within the framework of the National Forestry Policy (2001) and Forest Plan (2002).
