Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC
The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC was created in 2003 as North America's only private, non-profit fisheries service funded by licence revenues.
We manage six freshwater fish hatcheries, conduct fisheries research, and promote sports fishing. In partnership with provincial fisheries managers, we stock close to 1,000 lakes around BC.
We also work to make angling more accessible for all, provide conservation services to protect wild fish, and educate the public about sport fishing and conservation.
