The Fresh Film is for filmmakers aged 7 - 18, it is dedicated to encouraging young filmmakers to make films and empowering them as artists.
Fresh offers film programmes, exchanges, events, training and the annual Fresh International Film Festival. At the heart of the festival is Irelands' Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards. We accept films by Irish and international film makers aged 7 - 18.
Fresh International Film Festival is for aspiring young filmmakers to have their masterpieces screened in front of captive audiences, get invaluable feedback, see the latest inspiring feature films, take part in workshops and go through the jury and awards process.
We programme events year round and try to keep up to date with with youth film worldwide. We love to hear what young filmmakers are up to and provide support in any way we can. So get in touch and keep an eye on the website for upcoming events and opportunities.
