Princess Ghida Talal | الأميرة غيداء طلال

HRH Princess Ghida Talal is a tireless advocate and fundraiser for the fight against cancer. She is married to HRH Prince Talal bin Muhammad of Jordan, and the mother of Prince Hussein and twins Princess Rajaa and Prince Muhammad.

Princess Ghida graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service with magna cum laude honors, and a joint Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

As the wife of a cancer survivor, Princess Ghida witnessed firsthand the emotional and physical toll that cancer inflicts not just on the patient but also on their families, and she decided to devote herself entirely to the fight against cancer.

In 2001, HM King Abdullah II appointed Princess Ghida as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC). In her role leading KHCF and KHCC, Princess Ghida has transformed the quality of care offered to cancer patients in Jordan and the Middle East.
