No. 14 Lovel Street

No14 is a peaceful place to relax after a big day exploring all that the Blue Mountains region has to offer. We are definitely not a party hostel! There are no TVs, music, radios etc. You can of course stream your own content but we encourage guests to get off their screens and unplug, read a book and unwind by yourself, or enjoy conversation with other guests around the dinner table.

Built in 1913 (and named “Fairmount”) No14 Lovel Street has been a guesthouse, residential rooms, flats, and a hostel ever since. Our house is a beautiful, converted traditional weatherboard house with the addition of gas central heating and a large share bathroom. Our rooms are cosy and comfortable. Our guests often describe us as a ‘Home Away from Home’.

We are located 6-8 minutes walk from Katoomba railway station in the heart of the World Heritage listed beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park.
