namosluteguitar
This channel is a mixture of my past and present work with guitar and lute. The earliest videos of faculty recitals on guitar begin around 1985 and continue to more recent times. Most of these performances were given at Eastern Michigan University where I have taught since 1975. Although there are occasional mistakes, I hope the performances show the enthusiasm and excitement from playing before a live audience.
I am in my thirty-fifth year as a professor of music at Eastern Michigan University where I teach all students in the guitar program (see youtube.com/emuguitar) and graduate courses in music history.
I have two studio-recorded classical guitar CDs. "Classical Guitar Recital" is a digitally-remastered version of a recording made in 1988; "Summer Serenade" is of newer material recorded in 2006. Both are available from CDBaby.com (see link below) and iTunes.
