Welcome to McFly Angler!
I’m all about fly fishing, but I also enjoy conventional fishing from time to time. Having spent years fishing in Colorado's creeks and rivers for trout, from tiny brook trout to monster brown trout, I’ve experienced it all. Now based in Texas, I fish for warm-water species like bass, sunfish, catfish, and carp, and occasionally hit the Gulf for speckled trout and redfish.
On this channel, I also teach fly tying—everything from simple nymphs to complex saltwater patterns, streamers, dry flies, and more. Whether you’re just starting or want to refine your skills, I’ve got tutorials for all levels.
