Lee Newton

Nashville Recording Artist and Singer/Songwriter Lee Newton grew up in Western North Carolina, where her cab-driver father taught her guitar at age seven as they sang country classics together. Influenced by legends like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, The Judds, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lee’s sound blends traditional country, soulful blues, and southern rock. She has earned Vocalist, Artist, and Album of the Year honors at the Josie Music Awards (Grand Ole Opry), with her 2024 album UNLEESHED named Album of the Year. Her project Homesick produced singles including Carolina Rain, Homesick, and Meant to Be, which won Song of the Year at the ISSA Awards in Atlanta. Lee has collaborated with Joe Bonsall, Pam Tillis, T. Graham Brown, Rhonda Vincent, Leona Williams, Tony Jackson, and more, while performing with icons like Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Gene Watson & The Gatlin Brothers. Her fifth studio album, Journey, arrives in 2026, led by her single The Long Goodbye.
