DeCadence A Cappella
UC Berkeley's DeCadence (pronounced dee-KAY-dence, with a capital 'C'), is best known around the Bay Area for their one-of-a-kind quirkiness and lovable eccentricity. Often sporting our classic blue and gold capes, this slightly unconventional gaggle of crime-fighting, booty-dropping vocalists has been spotted artfully wielding crazy costumes and daring dance moves wherever they go. An entirely student-run organization, DeCadence has also proudly achieved a reputation for classy arrangements of songs with offensive lyrics, an accolade that has earned mentions on the front page of Ben Folds' website, millions of views on Youtube, and horrified looks from their parents.
