OPERATION PATRIOTS FOB
Welcome to OPFOB. A Healing Refuge for Veterans, First Responders, and Their Families.
Founded by Roy Brown Jr., Operation Patriots FOB (OPFOB) was created after the tragic loss of five fellow service members to suicide in just over a year. Today, OPFOB is a 268-acre nonprofit sanctuary in South Carolina dedicated to mental health, healing, and veteran suicide prevention through outdoor recreational therapy.
OUR MISSION Is to create and foster positive experiences for veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families by connecting through outdoor and recreational activities. We create an alliance through peer engagement in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
The Urgent Crisis We're Fighting
An estimated 22 to 44 Veterans die by suicide every single day. OPFOB is actively changing that by fostering hope, community, and resilience.
