Lakelands Public Health
Lakelands Public Health is the new, unified public health organization serving the City of Kawartha Lakes, the City and County of Peterborough, Haliburton County, and Northumberland County.
Formed through the merger of the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit and Peterborough Public Health, Lakelands Public Health brings together expertise, resources, and partnerships to better protect and promote the health of our communities.
Residents will continue to access trusted programs and services from immunizations and infectious disease prevention to health promotion, environmental health, and emergency preparedness, while benefiting from stronger coordination across the region.
Our new identity reflects connection, balance, and well-being, inspired by the land, water, sun, and moon of the communities we serve. Together, we are committed to building a healthier future for generations to come.
