Fletcher Farms Amarillo, LLC.

Welcome to Fletcher Farms Amarillo!

In 2022, my husband Cory and I bought 65 acres in Amarillo, Texas, and started our farm with one special donkey named Jack. Wanting him to have a friend led us to discover the heartbreaking truth about horses and donkeys being shipped to slaughter. That moment changed everything. We rescued a Jenny donkey and her baby, and soon after, six Belgian Draft horses—The Original Six.

Our love for animals inspired us to start the Big Hoof Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescuing at-risk equines, especially big-hoofed breeds. Since then, we've saved 212 equines: 129 Belgian Drafts, 5 Quarter Horses, 1 Clydesdale, 18 Percherons, and 59 Donkeys. Fletcher Farms is also a working homestead with goats, chickens, and more. We make fresh goat milk soap and bath bombs using milk from our goat, Meesha. Follow our journey—it's never dull and always full of heart.
