Hi, I’m Nikolai.

I compose music and play piano.

My compositions are translations of my impressions and experiences. I gather them throughout my semi-nomadic existence — recently in Europe, the US, and East Asia.

Currently I am back in my birth town, Vienna (Austria), working through many drafts and creating new music, which I share here.

For each composition, I upload both a score + audio video (for read-along listening) and a performance video (of me playing the piece).
