AVA Training
AVA (Alliance against Violence and Adversity) is creating capacity to transform community health and social services to promote health and wellness of girls, women, and gender-diverse people at risk/affected by violence and adversity over the life-cycle. Established by Dr. Nicole Letourneau as a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) funded Health Research Training Platform in 2022, Dr. Letourneau and the AVA team expanded with new funding from CIHR for a Knowledge Mobilization Hub in 2023 and Implementation Science Research Program in 2024.
