Memphis D
Memphis D is a UK acoustic blues / Americana musician bringing his unique blend of slide, rhythm, boogie blues. Original songs with influences from classic delta blues, soul and country. Memphis has played across the UK at blues clubs and a variety of festivals including one of the UK's most prominent blues festivals in 2024 (The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival) and will be appearing at the Dereham Blues Festival in July 2025.
Audiences across the North of England (in particular) and further afield are digging this new take on an old sound. The resonator guitar used to generate new songs about love, life, truth and lies. All melded together with soulful vocals, catchy riffs, a splash of harmonica and toe-tapping rhythms.
A new collection of songs was released on 24 April 2025 under the album title - Mind my own business and is available across all streaming platforms.
