The Scottish Highland Clearances – Alwyn Edgar
Hello! My name is Alwyn Edgar and I am fascinated with the history of the Scottish Highlands, especially the clearances. I worked as a teacher, lecturer, and local broadcaster (not to mention as an actor and a fiddle-player), and in various other occupations, while researching and writing several volumes about the Highland clearances, which are now being published. I began writing volume one in 1963, so perhaps I cannot be accused of undue haste.
