Nitika Don Bosco Studio

Nitika Don Bosco Studio, founded in 1977, pioneered media production for Don Bosco India. The nation’s first Don Bosco Media House partnered with Chitrabani, Kolkata’s Jesuit Film Institute, to craft vivid educational slide shows that reached classrooms across the country.
For decades it was the go-to studio for every Don Bosco institution, delivering films, audio cassettes and training. Its crown jewel remains the iconic album THE FLAME IN THE SLUMS—a tribute to Mother Teresa, sung by Bollywood legend Smt. Usha Uthup.
Countless celebrated singers, composers and media professionals trace their first steps to Nitika’s vibrant corridors, making it a quiet cradle of Indian Catholic creativity.
