Black Cat Hiking
For over 20 years, I’ve explored the landscapes of the UK one step at a time, hiking more than 30 long-distance trails across England, Scotland, and Wales. From the rugged Highlands to the rolling countryside, the journey has been as much about discovery as it has been about distance.
Currently working as a tourist guide in Scotland, I spend my days sharing the country’s history, legends, and landscapes with visitors — and my own free time chasing new trails and horizons, hence this channel.
(I'm also a fan of Black Cats, hence the name of the channel - my boys are big characters, Chase and Trip)
My long-term goal is to take on one of the "Big Three" long-distance hikes in the United States — the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, or Continental Divide Trail — a dream I’m determined to make reality, preferably before I leave this world behind!
Each path I've walked is a step closer to that dream — and a reminder that the real destination is the adventure itself.
