Hi, welcome to my channel! I am Meili Li, a countertenor based in Hamburg who passionately loves music and singing. Here are some of my recordings, if you like it, please subscribe! It would be wonderful to meet music lovers here!
If you want to know a bit more about me: I got my MA from Royal Academy of Music under Michael Chance and finished the opera course at Guildhall School with Yvonne Kenny. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with prestigious musicians in major opera houses. Recent highlights include title role in Handel's Giustino at Theater an der Wien, Alessandro in Handel's Tolomeo (with wonderful Jakub Józef Orliński as the title role) at Händel-Festspiele Karlsruhe. Future engagements include title role in Handel's Tolomeo at Theater Lübeck, title role in Handel's Tamerlano at Cambridge Handel Opera, Alcasto in Argenore and Apollo in Death in Venice at Theater Münster.
