Since 1987, Peter "Groucho" Canavese has been writing film reviews and articles in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is a member of the San Francisco Film Critics Circle. Here at Groucho Reviews on YouTube, you'll find video interviews and reviews. Since 2009, he has regularly contributed film reviews to Palo Alto Weekly (PaloAltoOnline.com). His reviews and/or interviews have also appeared in the San Jose Mercury News (1991-1994), monthly ON Magazine (1995-2009), and in Bay Area weekly Alternate101 (2007-2008), as well as on Portland's 1190 KEX drive-time show Mark & Dave (2008) and in the books Conversations with James Ellroy (2012), Ellroy Confidential: Scrivere e vivere a Los Angeles (2015) and the forthcoming J.J. Abrams: Interviews (Conversations with Filmmakers).
