Engine world
Car engines are the heart of the car and one of its most important parts ever. Engines are vital elements on which cars depend to perform their basic functions. Motor types and modes of operation vary by vehicle type and use.
Types of car engines
1. Internal combustion engines
These engines convert the chemical energy present in the fuel (e.g. gasoline or diesel) into thermal energy and then into mechanical energy.
Gasoline engines: most common and used in normal cars.
Diesel engines: are often used in large cars such as trucks.
2. Electric motors
depend on electricity instead of conventional fuel. Electric power is stored
3. Hybrid motors
It combines an internal combustion engine with an electric motor, providing higher fuel efficiency.
