Groton Hill Flute Orchestra
The Groton Hill Flute Orchestra, formerly the New England Flute Orchestra, formerly the Nashua Flute Choir, travels the New England region performing at churches, retirement communities, and libraries, presenting classic compositions and bringing new favorites to delight audiences of all ages.
A concert by the Groton Hill Flute Orchestra offers a variety of repertoire — something for every listener. This includes some beloved "classics" as well as music of our own time, including the newest 21st century compositions written to feature the specific tone colors and abilities of the flute — sometimes with added sound effects! For a lighter side, we play jazz and pop-influenced pieces, and works which add percussion to the flute sound.
We "fit" into practically any performance space and are happy to bring live music to intimate venues as well as larger halls. When you are considering live music for your next event, please consider the Groton Hill Flute Orchestra.
