My So-Called Gen X Life

My name is Natalie and I was born in 1977. I am a Gen Xer AND a Xennial. Yes, you can be both. I am also a self-appointed Gen X pop culture historian. This channel is all about life in the 70s, 80s, and 90s...especially the TV, Movies, and Music. This is the place where I unload all of the pop culture trivia knowledge that I have accumulated in my brain over the past 47 years.

If you had a Cabbage Patch doll, played Atari, remember watching The Day After or the original V miniseries, learned important lessons from "Very Special Episodes" and "After School Specials," attended a McDonald's birthday party, cried when Mr. Hooper died, saw the Challenger explode, and lived for Pee Wee's Playhouse and Saturday morning cartoons, then this channel is for you.

Also, I occasionally attempt to re-examine the news I consumed, the pop culture I adored, and the education I received during my ideal American Gen X childhood and beyond. Think of it as nostalgia with a dose of criticism.
