ZanubaDance
ZanubaDance is a Channel dedicated to a Senior belly dancer that began her dance journey in the 1970's. An avid belly dancer since the 70's, Zanuba continues to perform in Haflas and other events in her home town near Seattle WA to this day. Her style is American Cabaret and shows many influences of her early ballet training.
Her interpretation of American Cabaret in the Egyptian Style is meant as a tribute to the beautiful Egyptian culture, and as such she honors this art form as she has learned from many instructors over the years that have come from, or performed a great deal in the clubs and cabaret houses in the Middle East.
She believes you are never too old to dance, and while leaving the 'Heyday' to the up and coming dancers, she still feels she has a lot to say in her dance. At 78 and counting, you can see that she still has the will and dedication to continue!
