Daughters of the Red Sunset (Maria Muscarella)
Welcome to the Ninja Chickens Podcast! My real name is Maria Muscarella, but you can find me on IG as @daughtersoftheredsunset and on Ravelry as Ninja Chickens, and at TheRedSunset.com . I'm a clinical Nurse-Herbalist turned fiber-artist, homesteader, and homeschooling mom of two crazy-awesome kids. I love to knit, sew, spin (yarn, not in the gym), read, garden, make medicine, and wear my pajamas all day long. (Seriously... all day! It's a mad rush for me to get out of my flannels before the UPS guy comes to the door! Honestly, he usually just finds me in my PJs.)
My family and I live on 25 acres in the woods of Western North Carolina. We keep ourselves happy (and busy) in a little wedding cake shaped house that we built with our own hands. Our cats are goofy. Our chickens are loud and silly. And our yard is full of gardens, fruit trees and berry brambles.
