Meet your host, David Pendergast—better known as Mr. P. A National Distinguished Principal, he has led schools in the Davis School District with a focus on building strong culture, supporting the whole child, and driving meaningful growth. At Vae View Elementary, he helped move the school out of turnaround status while introducing initiatives like mindfulness and growth mindset. Today, he serves as the principal of Lincoln Elementary in Layton, Utah, where he continues his commitment to students, families, and educators.

Mr. P brings not only 20 years of leadership experience, but also a genuine passion for supporting students, families, and educators across Utah.
