브리꼴레르: '브리꼴라쥬'를 하는 사람
bricoleur: person who does 'bricolage'
브리꼴라쥬: ‘브리꼴라쥬’는 ‘브리꼴레’(늦장부리다, 쓸데없는 짓을 하다)라는 프랑스어에서 유래되었고, 우리 주변에 있는 흔한 재료들을 길들여 지지 않은 야생의 사고로 창조적이고, 재치있게 활용 하는 것을 의미합니다.
브리꼴라쥬의 대가는 북아메리카 원주민들 이었다고 해서 ‘주어진 재료로 최고의 작품을 만드는 인디언의 기술’을 뜻하기도 합니다.
bricolage: ‘bricolage’ is derived from the French word ‘bricolage’ (to be late, to do useless things), and means to use common materials around us creatively and wittily with untamed wild thinking.
It is said that the masters of bricolage were the natives of North America, so it also means ‘the skill of the Indians who make the best work with the given materials’.
