Andres Institute Of Art - Outdoor Sculpture Park
The Andres Institute of Art, nestled in Brookline, NH, seamlessly blends art, nature, and community. Spanning 140 acres of former Potanipo ski slopes, this unique sculpture park features over 100 diverse metal and stone creations along eleven scenic hiking trails. Visitors explore the art amidst stunning natural landscapes, creating a dynamic interplay between human creativity and the environment. A key feature is the annual Bridges and Connections International Sculpture Symposium, where artists from around the world create works on-site, offering the public a glimpse into the artistic process. Adding another dimension to the Institute is the historic Big Bear Lodge. Once a ski lodge, it has been revitalized into a vibrant performance center, hosting a wide range of musical genres, from jazz and blues to rock, folk, and Americana. The Lodge serves as a cultural hub, bringing the community together to celebrate art, music, and shared experiences.
