Rachel is a Billboard Hot 100, UK Chart Top 10, multi-award-winning songwriter. She is a member of the GRAMMYs and Ivors Academy, an executive member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, recipient of a prestigious British Citizen Award for contribution to the arts, and named “a songwriting expert” by BBC Radio Four’s Today Programme.
Rachel is the winner of the Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize 2023 and her work has been described as “ingenious” by Broadway World. Her musical The Circle was chosen by Claude-Michel Schönberg to be featured in his new musicals masterclass in 2024. Her song Drown Without Water was also chosen by Elaine Paige to be played on her award-winning BBC Radio 2 show.
As a well-respected music industry judge Rachel has been on the judging panels for Intercontinental Music Awards, The British Short Film Awards, Talent Is Timeless, Sky TV’s Sing: Ultimate A Cappella, The UK Songwriting Contest and many others.
