U92 the Moose

U92 the Moose, WWVU-FM, is the college radio station of West Virginia University.

First launched in 1982, U92 the Moose is home to an eclectic staff of jocks, reporters, anchors, and sports broadcasters. U92 the Moose primarily plays college rock, alternative, and underground music, but also specializes in jazz, blues, classic rock, and other genre-based shows on nights and weekends.

The news and sports departments create and host a long line-up of locally programmed shows and podcasts. Additionally, the sports department covers four WVU sports: women's soccer, women's basketball, baseball, and the club ice hockey team.
