Hello, I'm an avid gardener who grows plants year-round! My name is Robert, I'm a broadcaster journalist at Japan's public broadcaster, NHK. I've been living in Japan for 43 years, currently in the city of Kamakura (home of Japan's first Shogun), about 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Tokyo on the coast of Sagami Bay. Yokosuka, Fujisawa and Yokohama are nearby cities. I enjoy morning hikes in our beautiful nature preserves with Haru-chan 🐶, my third Boston Terrier.
