NAACP Newark NJ, established July 14, 1914, is the largest branch in New Jersey and the second oldest. NAACP is an advocacy association focused on social justice, civil rights and the elimination of racial discrimination. NAACP Newark (#2093) is an all volunteer local unit and an active branch in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
