Xavier Xerxes is a multi-instrumentalist recording artist. He is an accomplished guitarist, bassist, vocalist and a clever lyricist. He specializes in a hard rock/heavy metal sound with unconventional frenetic guitar work. He has released 5 albums to date including Xavier Xerxes (1996), Back To The Basics (2014), Integrate (2017), Dark Energy Lab (2021) & eXplore (2024).
His debut album features lyrics that are based on puns, oxymorons, & physics and was designed to engage the listeners' intellect. His "Back To The Basics" album is designed to engage the listener emotionally with powerful & moving heavy metal songs with lyrics that deal with social issues. His "Integrate" album is his most eclectic album to date. His "Dark Energy Lab" album is an experimental music album that introduces "Nerd Metal." His eXplore album has experiments with polymeters, swing feel, exotic scales, & odd time signatures in prog/avant-garde rock tracks.
