UCL Faculty of Life Sciences

We are a community of UCL academics, researchers, students and staff who seek to focus passion and purpose on the search for answers to some of the most enduring questions about life on earth, and the urgent problems that face humans and other animals.

UCL Life Sciences is home to one of Europe’s leading Schools of Pharmacy and a hub for drug discovery, as well as hosting two of the world’s leading neuroscience institutes.

The Faculty of Life Sciences at UCL is comprised of five key divisions; the Division of Biosciences, the School of Pharmacy, Laboratory for Molecular Cell Biology (LMCB), the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit and the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour (SWC).
