AfuriKo’s music emerges from a wholehearted, spontaneous dialogue between sounds and cultures. A combination of scintillating harmonies and earthy djembe grooves, the duo’s unique blend of African infused jazz makes for a timeless experience.
We are a husband-and-wife duo exploring the intersection of African traditional rhythms and contemporary jazz. With keyboards and percussion as our main instruments, our sound is both grounded and experimental—always inviting listeners into a space of groove, spirit, and sonic exploration.
