Welcome to M & K Acres! Nestled on less than a quarter-acre in a small lake community, we’re embracing a simple, self-sufficient lifestyle. Here, our chickens and dogs are our family, and we love sharing the ins and outs of the simple life with you. From hunting and fishing to gardening and preserving our harvests, we’re passionate about living close to the land.
We started this journey in our late 40s and early 50s, savoring the freedom that comes with growing, cooking, and crafting from scratch. On this channel, you’ll find videos on everything from scratch cooking and herbal remedies to canning, freeze-drying, and tending to our beloved flock and bull terriers.
