Daayra Music (DAAYRA)

DAAYRA is an international rock band formed in Europe.
The line-up consists of band leader Raj Mohan (lead vocals), Manav-D (lead vocals, keytar), AR-T (bass, vocals), Barth de Klerk (guitar, vocals), Ardi-Z (guitar, vocals), Daan Quittner (drums ) and Suresh-M (tabla).

Daayra emerges at the juncture where hard rock meets Indian raga. It embodies a magnificent blend between two worlds and brings music to you that is radical and straightforward.

The music production pushes the boundaries of the Indian diaspora music by interweaving hard rock with rich spiritual ancient Sanskrit mantra’s and poems. Enriching both genres, a new musical direction is given birth to.

Two star performers hit a unique path in Indian music with the Hanuman Chalisa, the world famous 16th century poem of Swami Tulsidas.
