Seconds To Serenity

Seconds To Serenity was born in the shadows of 2012, emerging from Chicagoland’s hard rock/alt-metal scene with a sound both haunting and explosive. Blending crushing riffs, raw vocals, and lyrics steeped in pain and resilience, the band drew comparisons to Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust, Motionless in White, and Three Days Grace.

After Scarlet (2013) and Learn To Fly (2015), the band went silent for nearly a decade—until 2025, when founding frontman Jake LoGiudice resurrected the project with Brian Benischek (guitar), Dana Goggin (bass), and Draven DC (drums). Forged in solitude and sharpened by experience, their sound has grown darker, heavier, and brutally honest.

This year, the band returned with a vengeance: “Bloom,” “The Void,” and “Without You” carving the path toward their upcoming record, Nexus, due out Halloween 2025. Seconds To Serenity isn’t just back—they’re claiming their place in the darkness.
