Papillons The Band
Frontman Pa Loung, guitarist Bu Bu and drummer Arkar Hla Thaw have been friends since their university days back in 2008. And they been playing metal tunes together under different names (We Whiskies and End.The.Circle to name a few). Papillons The Band has been Pa Loung's side project for awhile where he adventures into softer melodies and creating folk-rock songs. The band as it is now came together in 2017 releasing a few singles like "Festival (ပွဲတော်)" and "Dream U”. As soon as after releasing few singles, they becomes popular and have been recognized among youth. Now a new member, guitarist Mark Man Tang, joined the band and in 2023, they released their debut album with VACUUM Records.
