RecoveryIntl
Recovery International was founded in 1937 and conducts weekly group peer-led meetings in nearly 600 communities around the world, as well as telephone and Internet-based meetings. The world's oldest self-help mental health group, Recovery International is a program of Abraham Low Self-Help Systems, a non-profit, non-sectarian, consumer-run organization.
The Recovery International cognitive behavioral training system teaches people to control behaviors and change attitudes toward anger and fears. People who practice the tools learn to change their thoughts and behaviors; changes in attitudes and beliefs follow.
