Kristian Håskjold

Hi, I’m Kristian Håskjold - an award-winning Danish/Norwegian filmmaker and Super16 alumnus. I make emotionally driven films and series, and this channel is where I share my short films, promote my latest work, and give you a look behind the scenes.

My work has screened at over 120 international festivals and received 20+ awards, including the Grand Jury Award at SXSW for Forever Now and Best European Short at Leuven for A Worthy Man (later shortlisted for the European Film Awards).
I’ve directed the Sundance-premiering miniseries Chemo Brain, season two of Hooligan (winner of Best Short Fiction at TVPrisen 2024), and earned Vimeo Staff Pick Premieres, Oscar-qualifying awards, and recognition from Adobe and EFP Future Frames.
