Robert Markley

The German Rockgroup "Scotland" - a brief history: "Scotland" was formed in Rüsselsheim and Raunheim - two cities in the Frankfurt-Region/Germany. Between 1980 and 1987 the group performed regularly live. During their live performances, the group presented own songs, which were heavily influenced by the progressive rock music of the 1970s. The trio used a slide- and lightshow live to illuminate the often extended instrumental passages. With the lineup of Michael Skotnicki (bass, synthesizer, vocals), Thomas Schwalbach (drums, percussion) and Robert Markley (guitar, vocals) the hard rock trio recorded the album "Money May Help" in 1984, which was released in early 1985. In 1999 the trio reunited in Raunheim for a successful reunion gig. Yon can find all the songs of the LP „Money May Help“ from 1985 and the Demotape from 1982 on this Youtube-Channel. Guitar Play Alongs: It was an amazing experience for me to revisit the old guitar riffs and solos after 40 years! Keep on rockin'!! Robert
