Cartier Boxing Academy is a community-based boxing club in Ottawa, Ontario that brings together Canadian Armed Forces members – Reserve and Regular Force – alongside experienced civilian coaches and volunteers dedicated to skill development and mentorship.

The club maintains a close relationship with the Governor General’s Foot Guards and the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa, with most of its amateur boxers drawn from these two Regiments and others across the CAF in the National Capital Region.

The GGFG Regimental Association hosts the annual Clash of Cartier charity boxing event, while the Cartier Boxing Academy trains the fighters who step into the ring. The event raises funds for youth scholarships and community programs, celebrating fitness, resilience, and service.

Training runs from September to March, culminating in the annual Clash, but the Academy’s broader mission is to inspire discipline, fitness, camaraderie, and to instil a lifelong love of boxing among CAF members.
