World Vision Ethiopia
World Vision is an international Christian relief and development organization. World Vision began its intervention in Ethiopia with an intensive relief and rehabilitation programme in the 1970s. Since that time, World Vision Ethiopia (WVE) has grown to become one of the biggest humanitarian and development organizations in Ethiopia. From the 1990s onwards, the integrated development approach of World Vision’s Area Programmes (APs) has ensured empowering, sustainable and transformational development across the nation. World Vision is currently delivering change for children through 57 area programs and a number of emergency and humanitarian responses, in partnership with the government, the community, faith-based organizations and other stakeholders throughout Ethiopia.
