I do studio recording and have played professionally, but I love teaching in the public schools (not to mention the job security, benefits, and retirement). I play principal horn in the Orchestra at Temple Square, which accompanies the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on their CDs and weekly broadcasts. I also teach horn at Utah State University and do free lance work. After playing on a Conn 8D for 20 years I bought a Ricco Kuhn model 293X horn (Feb 8, 2010). I played on it for about a year and in March, 2011 I bought a Holton 276 "Merker" horn.
