SweetsTales
Sweets Tales is an original documentary about Japanese wagashi sweets and the people who make them. Wagashi have a natural sweetness and use traditional plant-based ingredients such as mochi, azuki bean paste, and fruits. Wagashi are exquisite in their beauty and taste, and are often enjoyed with tea and at ceremonies or festivals. The creation of wagashi first began to flourish in the Edo Period (1603-1868) and remain an important part of Japanese food culture today.
