Originally this was just my private collection of videos I videoed for my own viewing pleasure. Seeing people enjoy this as much as I do, makes me even happier! Thank you.

In my videos, I take the sheaths off of "ripe" Pinfeathers, releasing the feather underneath.

I used to do this with my fingers but due to me needing to keep my fingernails short, it didn't feel good enough for my birds. So I switched to tweezers. So welcome to the *very first ever* YouTube channel where we desheath Pinfeathers with tweezers!

I've been doing this for a very long time - about 30 years now. If you want to do this, I'd recommend introducing tweezers to your birds slowly and at their pace of comfort. Make sure they're blunt and rounded to prevent any injuries. Stay calm and focused, and hope both you and your precious bird can enjoy it.
