Established by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche after his first trip to Tibet in 2001; Konchok Foundation is a charitable, educational and cultural non profit organization, with the objectives of providing aid and assistance to the peoples of Kham and Golok Regions of Tibet through the preservation and revitalization of indigenous Tibetan culture and religion, the advancement of education, and the improvement of socio-economic conditions.

We are currently assisting with the building of a shedra (school) at Surmang Dutsi Til monastery, (the original seat of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche) which will provide traditional Buddhist training and education for both monks and nuns, as well as a standard education for lay people of all ages.
